Children
Dennice, our first born, was the desire of our
hearts from the moment we planned to marry. She arrived after
several attempts to the joy of grandparents and great
grandparents. Dr. Rankin said she was the prettiest girl he had
ever delivered. If you have ever seen a porcelain doll then you
do know what Dennice looked like just moments after birth.
Charles III, Chuck, is our first born son. His
birth was a forecast of what his life would be like. Thanks to
medical advances he survived birth. Thanks to much motherly
prayer he grew into an incredible man.
Chad, our fourth child, was the reward for being
totally open to the love and life of God in our lives. His
docility, awareness and gift to relate to people of all ages has
endeared him to so many.
Debra, our second child and daughter, was the
gift of desiring to being parents who would hopefully be better
"this time around!" She is the only one where we had the thrill
of racing to the hospital in hopes that we'd get there before
she was born. She, too, was so beautiful at birth. We couldn't
believe how fortunate we were to have such gorgeous daughters.
