Split Oak Farm Horses

One of the purposes for Split Oak Farm was for Paw Paw to retire and to have a hobby. As a young boy he attended Saturday matinees at the neighborhood theater. He especially enjoyed the cowboy serials.

Embedded in his memory is his picture on a paint pony dressed as a cowboy - hat, vest, pants, boots and gun, of course.
